Mathias Richling is the end of the year from the summit of satire Dieter Nuhr. This program is the successor to the legendary windshield by Dieter Hildebrandt. The following players were from the comedy field, and could never reach the usual cabaret depth.
Rich Ling on the other hand, has experienced another show on SWR, the first "Meet Zwerch fur" and now called "Studio Rich Ling" is. In it, he appears in different roles and imitating politicians. To me the show has but just annoying. Rich Ling, unfortunately, hardly any common content and only little wit. At the end of the show makes you feel not well maintained and has learned nothing. - It is rather glad that It is finally over. Rich Ling widespread stress. An appearance on a show like "News from the institution" had never Richling and in comedy he is not found. But I find that he not even heard.
Why am I telling all this? - Well, I Richling was a few years ago really super and I have always enjoyed him on TV. These were used to correct highlights. Unfortunately he can wear on television, apparently. If he is criticized - as Hildebrandt has done it - then he reacted like a petulant child. And if the rate falls, he tries the more roles to compensate for more text and more work. But the proof is now performed well this will work not like that. Fun can not be forced.
I still think a lot of Rich Ling and therefore he'm sorry. I can still remember how he has designed about 15 years ago on the stage alone, an interesting evening. He's a damned clever head. It can analyze and can be formulated. Coupled with his uncanny slapstikartigen comedy that can work well.
Unfortunately, he has never taken a time, has never listened to in order to reinvent itself. He plays the politicians for more and more in the same scheme. Everything is superficial, boring and annoying. If it appears without clothes, he has made many promises that it is hard to listen. He is now a nerd, who somehow direction and has lost only wriggles to total wear. Tragic, but not funny. I think he suffers a lot.
I think he should take a longer creative break (maybe about 2 years) and to do everything except produce shipments. If he shows up again on TV, I will certainly turn back and look at him again perhaps even me. Because I miss the old Rich Ling!
