Ladies and Gentlemen, at this point I want to receive from the ups and downs of a trip report to the Claude Simon, Michel (all things German, which also have the Bamberger scholarship) and I set off four days ago. First it was
to Kashan, a small, very pretty city in central Iran, about which one has but then after a day somehow enough - especially in Ramadan - because there really is nothing at all. Spectacular was the whole thing on the second Day, we decided to take a trip to a mountain village called Abyaneh. After we found a taxi driver who us the 80 kilometers back and wanted to go back for eight euros, it went off.
On the way we drove by the way, at one of Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz, could be seen but not much, probably done the essential underground. And also is hard to imagine that the Iranian government presented the important parts of its nuclear program as open, there's probably a lot of hidden assets.
Well, arrived in the village, we were very excited for the first time that Ramadan is written there is not so obvious large number of families picnicking straight. Michel and I decided then, rumzukraxeln prefer a bit of the surrounding mountains, which was quite nice. On the way back we came past several seemingly mysterious caves, realized that I had since at least take a look inside. We suspected that because sometimes Schaefer slept in it, because pretty much wool was before. When we were on our way back, we passed several ant hills and I voiced that I would be totally itch just by the sight of all ants. A few minutes later but have been a variety of small animals found on and under my T-shirt and Michels. When we then once moved to a quiet corner and Lausten us thoroughly, the hard truth came to light: We both had lots of fun red bite marks on the skin, the bugs were fleas and some we've even caught red-handed when biting.
Claudia, Simon and the taxi drivers were thrilled little to go back with us, but they have survived fled free. The latter's enthusiasm then fell again as much as we steadfastly refused to give him another eight euros, which he claims would entitle the way back. Well, finally we gave him then at the end of an hour-long discussion for another four euros he took against cursing. So, Kashan Taxi Driver: Do not fuck with the foreigners! In Kashan
we went first went to a pharmacy, have presented a copy of what the pharmacist somewhat from the version brought to see that everything was not so bad, attract one shower, new clothes, that would be. So we bought two copies of the cheapest pants we could find in the bazaar, were negotiating with our old hotel has a special shower use, the price after several phone calls and one-half outburst on my part - which is saying what - was then set to 80 cents. The fleas we have here but rather concealed. Then
was all for now good again and while Claudia took leave from Tehran Termingruenden gene, we were on our way to the station, we wanted to go by night train to Yazd, an ancient, beautiful Wuestenstadt with Zoroastrian history. Which We would then also the highlight, no, Yazd, but the night train. We had expected the seats in a crowded open coaches, instead we were given a separate compartment in the sleeper! For those who do not know, I love to ride in a sleeper and I was then even an hour longer than the others and look at the rushing lights and outside the large cities, as always, beautiful stars.
The next morning, we then searched for a hotel, unfortunately it was full, but we could still get hold seats on the roof, for about 1.70 per person. While we then explored the old city of Yazd, the sun was burning mercilessly about us and I felt progressively worse. I had Diarrhea and headache, and by the flea bites I did get nasty itchy rash. In the evening I had then handed over, which unfortunately happened relatively close to our sleeping places, and caused not all guests enthusiasm. Tragically, this was vomiting also the first really good food - eggplant in tomato sauce - the victim.
Well, the next day we drove home, nine hours by bus, but I have survived quite well. In the evening I went to the doctor and now I'm using a very rich drug cocktail features including antibiotics, but no more than cost five euros. The diagnosis is the way, bacterial infection and is probably really the nasty fleas caused, I have but also the yogurt from a Kashan Restaurant suspected his part have contributed to
Well, and now I'm lying just on my bed and curing me out, really bad It could not be more me, but I got to my state more diarrhea and rash that itches from the flea bite in some cases really murderous. I will now go to the course, but is not there, I hope that tomorrow I can fully enter into life again.
Oh, I have forgotten and what is to be evaluated very positive: the shit Ramadan is over!
